Food Assistance for Families in Need
Youth Services is helping families in need with their Food Assistance Program.
Each family will be eligible to shop from an established list from Walmart. Food will be delivered to your door.
Each family may be eligible to purchase up to $300.00 worth of food for three months based on funding availability.
You must be at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines and reside in Clay, Jackson, or Platte counties. The Low Income Weatherization Assistance Program (LIWAP) provides homeowners and renters with cost-effective, energy-efficient home improvements free of charge. Our goal is to help you lower your utility bills and ensure you and your family are living in healthy and safe conditions.
Community Action Agency of Greater Kansas City (CAAGKC) provides Family Supportive Services to stabilize individuals and families in crises. These services include, but are not limited to: emergency rental assistance and emergency utility assistance.
