MARKETING & SPECIAL PROJECTS COORDINATOR
Description

The Marketing Coordinator manages the agency website, social media, collateral materials, and internal communication.

Responsibilities
  1. Partner with Managers, Program Director, Executive Director & CEO and other designated staff to develop marketing material for the organization and its’ programs/services
  2. Design and maintain marketing vehicles for the organization and its’ programs and services: website, brochures, social media pages, Annual Reports, print and radio advertisements
  3. Ensure required grantor statements are included on printed material
  4. Perform research to identify how to design and maintain the organization’s brand
  5. Obtain bids as necessary for materials and services as needed
  6. Provide reports and oversee special projects as requested
  7. Develop forum to inform employees of organizational news
  8. Write and submit press releases as needed
  9. Identify, design and purchase apparel and signage as needed
  10. Maintain donor and volunteer list
  11. Order marketing material
  12. Oversee Community Action Poverty Simulations
  13. Recruit and maintain relationship with volunteers
  14. Perform excellent customer service to participants, staff and vendors by telephone, in person and/or in writing
  15. Adjust to frequent change in duties and procedures
  16. Be non-judgmental and objective in working with clients, volunteers and coworkers
  17. Work effectively and efficiently in high stressful situation
  18. Work independently and/or in team setting and adhere to deadlines
  19. Schedule appointments and adhere to deadlines
  20. Perform other special projects and duties as assigned
  21. Represent CAAGKC at special events, meetings and/or remote locations to collect and/or inform applicants of programs and services
  22. Inform public of CAAGKC programs and services they may qualify for
  23. Any other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing
  2. Five (5) years of marketing and project management experience
  3. Strong writing and organizational skills
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office products: (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
  5. Experience working with the public
  6. Some evenings and weekend hours required occasionally
  7. Reliable transportation, valid driver license and maintain active car insurance
