Juneteenth KC Heritage Festival

Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States, dating back to 1865, and was once one of Kansas City’s most renowned heritage celebrations, and JuneteenthKC is proud to celebrate its resurrection! JuneteenthKC annually hosts more than 65 retail, food, nonprofit, and youth-oriented vendors from the Greater Kansas City area and neighboring counties, in addition to, KC’s best live entertainment throughout the day for residents of Kansas City area and tourists from across the nation.
Noon-10:00 pm Non-Profit/Retail Fair (Noon-9:00 pm) **Official Open of Street Activities Community Bands/Performances (Noon-6:00 pm) Opening Band/Headlining Performances (4:00-7:00 pm)
