Energy Assistance (LIHEAP)
Community Action Agency of Greater Kansas City has an Energy Assistance programs designed to alleviate the immediate threat of utility service disconnection and to assist residents in getting utility service restored to their homes. The Missouri Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) has two components: Energy Assistance (EA) and Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP). Eligibility requirements for LIHEAP are based on income, household size, available resources, and responsibility for payment for home energy costs. EA is designed to provide financial assistance to help pay primary fuel source heating bills. The EA benefit amount is based upon household size, income and the type of fuel used for home heating. ECIP is designed to provide financial assistance to households in a verifiable energy crisis.  Learn more.

Low-Income Weatherization Assistance Program (LIWAP)
The Low-Income Weatherization Assistance Program enables low-income families to reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient. The program provides cost-effective energy-efficient home improvements to Missouri's low income households, especially the elderly, children, those with physical disadvantages, and others hit hardest by high utility costs. The program aims to lower utility bills and improve comfort while ensuring health and safety. The program is for homeowners and renters, with owner's approval. Youth Services Programs
Project Assets Values Education (P.A.V.E. the Way) is an intensive after-school and summer program offered in the Greater Kansas City, Missouri high schools. The program provides students with tools, support, and resources needed to graduate and pursue post-secondary education, career exploration, and leadership development.  Learn more.
