CAAGKC is happy to provide Propio Language Services to all clients who need access to critical interpreting and translation services. Just request the service when you call or come by. 

Client Grievance/Customer Complaint Policy

Community Action Agency of Greater Kansas City (CAAGKC) clients are treated fairly without regard to race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, religion, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental, past, current or prospective service in the uniformed services, genetic information, or any characteristics protected under federal, state, or local laws.

CAAGKC will make every effort to ensure that clients enjoy access to a fair process for sharing their concerns. CAAGKC is committed to providing an opportunity for concerns to be heard and handled in a professional manner. Clients will not be subjected to retaliation or discrimination for sharing their concerns of filing a grievance. Grievances/Complaints may be filed by clients regarding the organization’s policies, the conduct of staff or volunteers, or the conduct of other clients. Grievances/Complaints will be handled professionally and investigated in as confidential a manner as possible.

In the event that a client believes he/she has been treated in a manner that is not consistent with USCAA’s standards or may be harmful to them, clients are encouraged to complete a Client Grievance/Complaint Form and submit it to the staff member who leads the relevant program or section of the organization.

Complaints may be submitted in writing, but not need to be.  If you wish to provide feedback on agency policies or raise a concern about services provided, please request an opportunity to meet with the lead staff member in the relevant program or section. You may also call in a complaint at (816) 358-6868, and ask for the department manager. You may also e-mail us at programs@caagkc.org. CAAGKC does not charge a fee or exchange any monetary goods for services. Please report any staff or volunteer that express a fee is associated with a service.
